Hiring Process

To be considered for certificated employment at Southwest Region Schools, you must complete an application on the Alaska Teacher Placement website. You will be requested to upload documents including:
- A letter of interest
- A current resume
- Three letters of reference
- Unofficial transcripts. Official transcripts will be required upon hire for placement on salary scale.
- A copy of a current Alaska teacher or administrative certificate and Highly Qualified paperwork.
