Certified Tuition Reimbursement Instructions and Form

One of the benefits available to Certificated teachers under the negotiated agreement is being reimbursed for the cost of tuition and fees associated with continuing education. The district provides $10,000 annually for all teachers in aggregate. A teacher does not need to be a member of the Southwest Region Educational Association (SWREA) to be eligible for funding. Requests must be submitted using this document. Funds are available on a first come, first serve basis. The annual maximum per teacher is $1,000. This may be used for a single course or a series of courses. (Each course in a series must be applied for separately.)
