Every February the school hosts a community carnival that includes fun like: basketball tournaments, kids games, a family night, dances, snowshoe races and BINGO. The annual carnival used to be centered around dog mushing, but the weather has changed and there are no longer any dog mushers in the region. The carnival now centers around the communities favorite sport, basketball, and all funds raised go to the student activity account.
